The Sociedad Cooperativa del Campo “La Candelaria”, founded in 1951 and with associates in all the islands of the Canary Islands, has become a leading company in the marketing and distribution of local products.
Always a defender of self-supply, the Cooperative does not tire of influencing the consumption of local products. It also helps the creation and maintenance of jobs and the revival of markets in our land; 68 years of experience, 54 employees, a cheese factory that has a production of around three million kilos of goat, cow and mix cheese; besides the commercialization of one hundred twenty thousand kilos of local meat, in addition to other agricultural products. Betting on consumption km0, all with the aim of promoting and dignifying the agricultural and livestock sector.

The Asociación de Agricultores y Ganaderos de Canarias, ASAGA Canarias ASAJA, was established on March 29, 1978, with the purpose of representing, managing, promoting and defending the economic and professional interests of the agricultural sector.
For this, it is in permanent contact with the sector and with the public administrations that have specific competences for the Canarian countryside. With the first, to know in depth their problems; with the latter to try to solve them in the most convenient way to the interests of farmers and ranchers. In addition, it is an active part of different organizations where debates and decisions are made that affect the agriculture, livestock and environment of the Canary Islands.
Currently, the association has an approximate number of six thousand members between direct and indirect partners of all the Islands, covering the sectors of banana, tomato, wine, flowers and plants, vegetables and livestock, which offers different services (training, advice on funding opportunities and other topics of interest, information or research).
